As far as crass commercialism is concerned- I don't see this project as being any better or any worse than the other films that featured Beatles songs. While Disney and Robert Zemeckis both make very charming children's movies, I don't see Yellow Submarine as something I'd take my kids to see. I see this as an attempt to make buckets of money while at the same time trying to make small children into Beatles fans. Hubby loved and highly recommends the Elvis french toast. Fairly standard pancakes, bacon, oatmeal, fruit. Most food was fine to pretty good in terms of quality. One of their signature dishes ran out about a half hour before breakfast ended (at which point they were still seating new breakfast tables) and was never refilled. I feel like that is unusual for restaurants that offer refills on drinks? After seeing her chatting with other tables and coworkers, I'm fairly certain it wasn't bc she was slammed with tables in her half empty section either.
Our server was great about clearing empty plates or containers but walked by my empty juice cup several times until I stopped her to ask for more. But then I'm not sure if they want to blame supply issues or just end of breakfast service, but refills for everything were slow going.
Our server was really friendly and fast to get us started. We did the breakfast buffet at the kitchen. Tl dr-overall fine but underwhelming, value would not be there if this was a real world restaurant instead of part of the theme park area We really loved the magicians! Both Wallace and Craig visited our table and adults and children were both entertained. I should have just gotten a burger and expected the quality of that. Potatoes had too much salt and the sides were very small accompanying the meat. Mushroom soup was too oily and the oil had separated from the cream before it arrived at the table.

When our filet arrived at the table, someone from the kitchen had cut through the center to check and see if it was done. A theme park hotel restaurant filet mignon for $44 should have the same quality as a $44 at Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster or Delmonico's.
